SMART SEAT™ Return Policy

Returned Goods:  Factory return authorization is required prior to return of all goods.  A completed “RGA” (returned goods authorization) form must accompany all goods.  All returns must be transportation prepaid to the GKM factory.  Abused or mistreated items will not be accepted as a warranty return.  A 15% restock charge will be subject to all returned goods that are not defective.

SMART SEAT™ Exchange Policy

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

The Smart Seat ™ carries our exclusive warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.  If for any reason the Smart Seat ™ should become unserviceable due to workmanship or materials within a 2 year period after (in the judgment of GKM Int'l.) the product will be replaced at no charge provided the defective product is first returned to  GKM Int'l.  Abuse and normal usage are excluded.

It is important to note that the Smart Seat ™ is a cosmetic improvement and in no way is it intended to provide structural support to your seating (consequently your existing seating must be structurally sound and fastened properly).  The Smart Seat ™ warranty does not extend to any consequential damages nor does it apply when product is installed incorrectly or used for purposes other than its intended use.

TEMPO Return Policy

Per Tempo’s long standing warranty, tempo will replace any item due to manufacturing defects. These include defective welding, and finishing, mismatched parts, out of shape parts, etc. moving parts (swivels, casters, etc.) and fabrics are not covered by this warranty. The swivels, however, are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

A restocking fee will be charged on any returned items that is found to be undamaged or non-defective!

In the event that a customer has received an item covered by warranty, tempo will replace the product per the following procedure.

    1. Customer notifies tempo of the damaged goods.
    2. Tempo customer service:
        1. Issue a call tag to pick up the damaged goods.
        2. Places a “repair” order for the replacement.
    3. Customer faxes confirmation of pick up of damaged goods.
    4. Tempo ships replacement item immediately upon receipt of confirmation of the damaged item.

TEMPO WARRANTY

TEMPO is the leader in technology innovation. Every TEMPO metal product is hand made. Each piece is electro-chemically washed before being electroplated with our exclusive non-toxic, chip resistant powder baked coating.

TEMPO INDUSTRIES, INC. warrants to the original owner (with proof of purchase) its iron metal product construction to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product. Moving parts are not covered by this warranty.

FINISHES

Finishes may vary up to 10% in both texture and color. Since these finishes are custom hand applied, no two chairs or stools will be identical. Such variations and nuances of shading and unevenness or depth of texture are what give the product its unique look…and are not to be considered a defect or imperfection.

CLEANING METHODS

DO NO USE ABRASIVE OR CHEMICAL CLEANERS!!! To maintain the original luster, use a soft clean cloth to dust or remove surface dirt and fingerprints.

WHEN ORDERING, PLEASE REMEMBER TO:

    1. Enter a purchase order number or have (required) along with complete billing and shipping information, telephone and fax numbers, and side mark information.
    2. Give complete product description including quantity, style, size, finish, fabric name and color, and item price.
    3. If your order includes a C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Material), Please read and follow the instructions on the C.O.M. form. This form is included with your price list for you to make copies of.

We will not reimburse for repairs made by others without prior written authorization…..no exceptions!
